Overwatch 2 launched with free to play title for PC, Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. One of the best parts of the original Overwatch 1 was the ability to see estimated queue times for each role once the role queue was implemented. Change Server Region
If you are stuck in long amount of player queue like 1000 players queue then simply close your game, then open Battle.net app and Change your Server Region if you are playing in Americas or Europe Region, simply select Asia Region as shown in image and you well see a very short number of player in queue compare to Americas or Europe Region, this will definitely fix your Overwatch 2 Long Queue issue, i personally used this method and its working fine in Asia region you will see less than 10 players in queue and also if your are worried about high ping in game than you don't need to worry even in Asia region i get good ping, i played the game without any issues, so they this Change Server Region method.
Check for server issues

These messages sometimes include an estimated time until service is restored, giving you an opportunity to plan your game. If you're taking forever to find a match, these are the first places you should check.
Try a different role
If you've been trying to play a certain role in the role queue, it might be worth switching to a different role or opening a queue to reduce the queue time. Tanks were extremely popular in Overwatch 2 due to their redesigned role and abilities. Naturally, more people playing a tank with only one tank per team leads to a longer queue for everyone in the queue to roleplay. Long queues can also mean that many people are trying to play the game in general, which is not uncommon immediately after the release of high profile games.
If you are stuck in a long queue for a certain role, try changing it to a flexible one or choosing a different role. At the time of writing, support seems to have the lowest queue times, assuming the estimated wait numbers are at least somewhat accurate. You even get 500 battle experience for completing the game as a support hero. For the lowest overall wait possible, try queue flex, which puts you in whatever role you need. This option also grants 500 battle experience at the time of writing. Open queue is also an option as the game doesn't have to assign you to a specific role.
Have a break
If you're stuck in an endless queue and you're annoyed, it might be time to take a break. Get up from your chair or bed and do something else instead of waiting. Not only will it make you feel better, but the lines may be shorter by the time you return. If you really want to play, you can try another Blizzard game or a game from a completely different developer. You can also watch other people play Overwatch 2 on Youtube or Twitch if you're dying to catch the game.
